✔ Show Day Stewards – Have you an interest in Livestock? Would you like to help on show day stewarding one of the many livestock competitions
✔ Practical Support – Are you more of a hands on person? Could you help sort rosettes, put up posters, set up tables in craft marquee?
✔ Admin Support – Could you help our show secretary with administration
✔ Food Hall – help set up tables, help the food traders on show day.
✔ Cookery Marquee – help sort the order of events on show day, set up the cookery marquee
✔ Field Team Member – Would you like to be part of the amazing field team? We always welcome help in the week leading up to the show especially with setting up the show field and the take down afterwards

Castlewellan Show run by the community for the community
My experience of Castlewellan was very positive and I thank everyone I met over the three days, I was there, for making me so welcome. As a long-time attender, of the Show, it was great to see it from the other side and appreciate the amount of work that is required for such an event.
Having recently retired [early!] from a job in administration this was my first opportunity to volunteer and what a great one it turned out to be. Personally, I felt it was a great success and that only happens when you have everyone working together. I only came on board at the end but the amount of organisation that, very obviously, has to take place in advance was impressive.
I plan on continuing volunteering with the show and will be helping with administration and rosette sorting in the year ahead.
